About The Owner
The owner of Minnesota Wheelchair Ramps LLC, Doug Binder, grew up on a dairy farm near New Ulm, Minnesota. In 1982, he became a student at the University of Minnesota and has since lived in the Twin Cities for 34 years. After a tornado went through his city of Shoreview in 1998, Doug became a volunteer firefighter/EMT because he saw it as a rewarding way to help save lives and property. For over 22 years, Doug has been an active firefighter/EMT and has seen first-hand the struggles of those with mobility issues. Minnesota Wheelchair Ramps LLC was created to help provide homeowners with short and long term solutions to getting in and out of their homes.
